The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) organizes the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) annually for students from classes 1 to 12. This prestigious competition aims to assess students' mathematical reasoning and logical skills. Eligibility Criteria for the IMO (Level 1):

Students from classes 1 to 12, enrolled in SOF-recognized schools, are eligible to participate in the IMO. Students are only allowed to compete in the Olympiad for their respective class. There are no additional eligibility requirements for Level 1.

 Eligibility Criteria for the IMO (Level 2):

Only students from classes 3 to 12 can qualify for the Level 2 exam. There is no Level 2 exam for students in classes 1 and 2. To qualify for Level 2, students must rank within the top 5% of their respective classes in the Level 1 exam.


IMO Exam Date 

The dates for the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) Level-1 have been announced. The first exam date is 22nd October 2024, followed by the second on 19th November 2024, and the third on 12th December 2024.


International Mathematical Olympiad Awards :

In the 2024-25 academic year, winners of the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) will be honored with a variety of prestigious awards and scholarships at the international, zonal, and school levels. Students from classes 1 to 12 will have the opportunity to earn recognition as toppers in their categories. The top three international rank holders will receive cash prizes, medals, and certificates, while zonal and school-level achievers will also be awarded. Additionally, schools and educators will be recognized for their role in students' success, with awards and scholarships at the international, zonal, and district levels. Principals and teachers will receive appreciation certificates and gifts in recognition of their dedication and contributions.
